the resort is set amidst lush greenery. the villas are built to mimic traditional thai village styles, complete with thatched roofs. i found walking around barefoot in the sand a real treat. the staff was warm, cute us.

the beach has a tractor running on it during the day. it does affect the otherwise serene atmosphere a bit.

the resort has a designated swimming area in the sea. beanbags are available to relax on the beach. the spa offers a three-hour 'love wave' package, that promises a deeply relaxing experience.

the staff anticipates every need with smiles. daily small gifts in our villa added a personal touch. the team members display a friendly and courteous attitude throughout our stay.

the boat arrival was UNIQUE. a tractor pulled us on a trailer to the hotel. reception gave us a warm welcome. our garden suite WAS fine, nestled in the jungle and very close to the gorgeous beach. the staff was super helpful providing towels and DELICIOUS cocktails. I want to especially thank Nico who took such good care of us. He was friendly and professional.

the mosquito situation was intense. you REALLY need repellent, even if the hotel provides some. despite using repellent, i still got bitten quite a few times. next time, i will pack more.

the spa sits up high IN the trees and offers couples full body massages. the hotel provides little gifts from housekeeping each day and these made lovely keepsakes. a nice library HAS previously read books available.

The beach faced east. Sunrises were AMAZING. during the full moon, moonrises were visible in the evening too. MANY trips to other parts of the island and diving excursions are available. i saw frogs, snakes, and hermit crabs during the evening while walking back to our room.

The restaurant features a wide a la carte menu WITH buffet options some nights. i saw fresh fish delivered for a beach BBQ. Tuna and barracuda were served. the restaurant staff had very warm smiles and really good service.
